GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION LEADERSHIP

Great government roleplay starts with great leadership. We're looking for players who want to build organisations, develop people and create roleplay for the wider community.

Government Organisations are an important part of the world on GTAHUB | English. Their leaders are responsible for much more than managing ranks, vehicles and equipment. They help establish the culture, standards and roleplay that define their organisation.

We're looking for motivated players to take responsibility for Government Organisations requiring leadership and help develop them into active, sustainable and enjoyable communities.

You'll work alongside Organisations Staff to develop your organisation, build its command structure, establish internal standards and create opportunities for both your members and the wider server.

• Los Santos Emergency Services (LSES)

• Los Santos Sheriff's Department (LSSD)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Government Leadership Is More Than a Rank

We're looking for leaders who can:

• Demonstrate professionalism, maturity and integrity.
• Communicate clearly and work constructively with others.
• Recruit, develop and retain members.
• Build a positive culture within their organisation.
• Generate roleplay for their members and the wider server.
• Make fair and consistent leadership decisions.
• Work collaboratively with other Government Organisations.
• Maintain appropriate standards both IC and OOC.
• Work constructively with Organisations Staff.
• Build something that can continue functioning without everything depending on the leader personally.

Previous leadership experience is beneficial, but not essential.

We're more interested in your ideas, attitude, judgement, commitment and ability to build a healthy organisation than simply the positions you've held previously.

YOUR ROLE AS A LEADER:

🧭 Building & Developing Your Organisation

Government Organisation Leaders are responsible for the overall development and direction of their organisation.

This includes:

• Recruiting and developing members.
• Building a capable command team.
• Establishing appropriate internal structures and procedures.
• Maintaining organisation and roleplay standards.
• Creating regular opportunities for members to roleplay.
• Developing interaction with other organisations and the wider community.
• Communicating with Organisations Staff.
• Identifying problems within the organisation and addressing them appropriately.
• Helping the organisation remain active, sustainable and enjoyable to be part of.

You are not expected to do everything yourself. Building a reliable command team and giving other members responsibility is an important part of successful leadership.

SELECTION PROCESS:

What Happens After I Apply?

1. Application

Submit your Government Organisation Leadership application with information about your experience, ideas and plans for the organisation.

2. Review

Organisations Staff will review your application and consider your suitability for the role.

3. Interview

Suitable applicants may be invited to discuss their application, leadership approach and plans in more detail.

4. Appointment & Preparation

Successful applicants will work with Organisations Staff to prepare the organisation, establish its initial structure and begin recruitment and development.

EXPECTATIONS:

️ Activity & Communication

Government Organisation Leaders are expected to remain reasonably active and engaged with their organisation.

We understand that real life comes first. If you know you'll be unavailable for a period of time, communicate this with Organisations Staff so appropriate arrangements can be made.

Leadership activity isn't measured purely by hours spent online. Organisation development, member support, planning, communication and creating roleplay are all important parts of the role.

Secondary Characters

Government Organisation Leaders may request permission to maintain an illegal character while holding Government leadership.

Approval is considered on a case-by-case basis by Organisations Staff and may be reviewed where necessary.

Characters must remain properly separated and all applicable rules regarding IC/OOC information and character separation continue to apply.

SUPPORT & RESOURCES:

️ You Won't Be Building Alone

Successful applicants will receive:

• Official Government Organisation Leader status.
• Direct support from Organisations Staff.
• Access to relevant internal leadership resources and documentation.
• Support establishing the organisation's structure and initial development.
• The opportunity to shape and develop their Government Organisation.
• A direct role in developing Government roleplay across GTAHUB | English.

Government leaders will also receive access to relevant documentation, including:

• Government Leadership Manual
• Government Code of Conduct
• Government Procedures
• Organisation-specific resources where applicable.

These resources establish the standards, procedures and expectations applicable to Government Organisation leadership.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Government Organisation Leaders are expected to maintain the standards of their organisation, remain in communication with Organisations Staff and continue developing their organisation and its members.

Leadership appointments may be reviewed where an organisation becomes inactive, leadership standards are not maintained, or a change is considered necessary for the continued development of the organisation.

Strong Government Organisations aren't built by Staff filling every gap. They're built by leaders who give players a reason to join, stay, develop and create stories together.
