PARENTS: Melissa Grant (Mother) and Javier Grant (Father) met while on separate vacations at Las Venturas in their mid-20s. They would later move together to Las Venturas and be happily married in their mid-30s. They then become business owners and open a convenience store in their local area. Melissa then gives birth to Thomas Grant.
CHILDHOOD: Thomas Grant was born in Las Venturas as the son of Melissa Grant and Javier Grant, business owners of a small local convenience store that lived in a small apartment. He was taught well on respectful manners and to be optimistic towards the future.
YOUTH: Thomas, in his teen years, would be positioned in helping out his parents' convenience store. During his working hours, he would occasionally be robbed by petty criminals. These robberies, along with other criminal actions and police officers protecting those targeted, would spark his inspiration to be a part of the law enforcement career.
CURRENT STATUS: After serving 6 years in the Las Venturas Police Department at his highest rank of Sergeant, Thomas was transferred to the Los Santos Police Department and earned the rank of Sergeant II after a recommendation letter from Joesph Moore, a former LSPD high command Lieutenant and Assistant Chief. In 2024, Thomas got the chance to lead alongside Zack Zepp as Assistant Chief of the LSPD after Joesph Moore's departure. Since 2026, Thomas now serves as the Lieutenant of the Uniform Patrol Division.
EDUCATION: After Thomas graduated from high school, he would study Sociology and Criminal Justice at Greenglass College.
OTHERS:
- Despite serving as a law enforcement officer for most of his adult life, Thomas has maintained a close relationship with his cousin, Hannah Davis. Throughout the years, he has repeatedly attempted to steer her away from criminal influences after what he's seen both as a teen and a police officer. While their differing views on crime have strained their relationship at times, Thomas continues to believe that Hannah can change for the better.
