SERVER RULES 3/3

Roleplay Concepts & GTAHUB - EN Rules

14. PROPERTY DESTRUCTION

Property Destruction is the intentional damage or destruction of another player's property as part of roleplay.

Because property destruction may permanently affect another player's assets or progression, it is subject to additional restrictions to ensure fair and meaningful roleplay.

General Rules & Expectations This rule only applies to properties (e.g., apartments, houses, and/or businesses). All property destruction must be agreed upon by both parties. The affected player must explicitly agree to have their property destroyed as part of a roleplay scenario. Without this agreement, no destruction is valid, even if the roleplay has appropriate context, escalation, and justification. Prohibited Forcing a property destruction without OOC or IC consent. Repeatedly targeting another player's vehicles to harass or grief. Destroying vehicles in public areas with no RP justification or context. Clarifications Vehicle Destruction

You may only destroy another player's vehicle without their consent if:

The roleplay is justified, realistic, and documented (e.g., video, screenshots) The destruction is part of an escalating conflict (e.g., gang wars, revenge, turf disputes). You follow the escalation and use of force rules. ️ Notes

Unlike properties, vehicles can be destroyed without OOC consent, but the RP must be reasonable and provable.

Towing & Impounding

Players/Mechanics with towing or impounding permissions may not:

Destroy towed vehicles without proper Police or Staff involvement. Use towing powers to seize vehicles without legal justification, arrest, or permission from the owner. Impound vehicles from private garages or homes without a warrant or approval. Property Destruction

Permanent destruction of apartments, houses, or businesses requires:

The owner's explicit OOC consent. A mutually agreed roleplay storyline. Believable roleplay leading to the destruction.

Without the owner's OOC consent, permanent property destruction is not permitted.

️ Notes

Property destruction should always create meaningful roleplay rather than simply inconvenience another player.

Staff may assess the planning, escalation, evidence, and overall context of the roleplay when determining whether property destruction was carried out appropriately.

14.1 PROPERTY BUILDING & CUSTOMISATION

Property Building & Customisation allows players to personalise and furnish their homes, businesses, and other owned properties.

All customisations should support realistic, immersive roleplay and reflect the intended purpose of the property. Players may not use the building system to gain unfair gameplay advantages or create immersion-breaking structures.

General Rules & Expectations Use structure types appropriate to the role (e.g., clubs should look like clubs, not warehouses). Avoid placing "decoration-only" objects that block movement or visibility. Use realistic spacing, lighting, and scaling. Customisation rules Players can decorate and furnish their properties using the in-game editor and appropriately mapped furniture. Any and all placed furniture and structures must be realistic, functional, and properly aligned. The customisation must fit within the theme and purpose of the building (e.g., homes should look residential, shops should look commercial). Prohibited Placing furniture or objects that: Float in the air or clip through floors/walls. Are hidden or inaccessible by normal means. Obstruct doorways. Creating obscene, offensive, or troll structures (e.g., inappropriate imagery, impossible mazes, invisible walls). Using building bugs or exploits to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., shooting through invisible walls, hiding items in unreachable areas). Storing illegal items behind unremovable or deceptive props Use of Properties Properties should be used in line with their function. For example: Luxury homes should not be used as trap houses (storage of, or facilitation for criminal activity) Shops should be visually accessible to customers. Bars or clubs should have realistic seating, storage, and layout. Overcrowded interiors, nonsensical decorations, or "meta builds" (built solely for advantage, not immersion) are discouraged. ️ Notes

Any abuse of the customisation system is considered system abuse, and may result in a permanent ban.

14.2 VEHICLE USE AND PROPERTY ROLEPLAY

Vehicles should be used in a manner that is realistic, appropriate for the character, and consistent with the roleplay environment.

Vehicle choice, parking, storage, and operation should support immersive roleplay and must not be used to gain an unfair advantage or undermine the server's realism.

Prohibited Players may not use vehicles that are clearly inappropriate for their character or roleplay without believable justification. Players may not use luxury or exotic vehicles for criminal activity where it would be unrealistic for the roleplay. Players may not repeatedly use vehicles to provoke, troll, intimidate, or deliberately confuse other players. Players may not intentionally leave vehicles in locations that obstruct roleplay or prevent reasonable access. Players may not use vehicles in a manner that breaches other server rules, including Powergaming (PG) or Anti-Roleplay Attitude. Clarifications Vehicle Use

Vehicles should reflect the character, organisation, occupation, and situation they are being used in.

Vehicles should be parked, stored, and used in locations that are appropriate for the surrounding roleplay.

Aircraft must Be parked at designated airports or helipads when not in use. Only land in suitable locations where it is reasonable to do so. Aircraft may not Land on rooftops, public roads, or other unsuitable locations without believable roleplay justification. Fly at low altitude over active roleplay scenes without legitimate reason. Be used to support criminal activity where doing so would be unrealistic or inconsistent with server rules. Notes

Vehicles should enhance roleplay rather than provide an unrealistic advantage.

Staff may consider the vehicle chosen, the surrounding environment, and the overall roleplay context when determining whether vehicle use was appropriate.

14.3 RESALE OF PROPERTIES & ACTIVITY

Properties are a limited resource intended to support active, long-term roleplay. Players should only purchase properties they genuinely intend to use.

Buying properties solely to hold, speculate on, or resell for profit undermines fair access for the wider community.

Prohibited Selling a property to another player for more than 100% of its original purchase price. Purchasing properties solely to resell them for profit. Using alternate characters to purchase, hold, or resell properties. Circumventing the maximum resale value through separate payments, item exchanges, or any other indirect arrangement. Clarifications Properties may: Be sold to another player for up to their original purchase price. Be sold back to the server where supported by server mechanics. Be purchased and used as part of legitimate, ongoing roleplay.

For example, a property purchased from the server for $1,000,000 may not be sold to another player for more than $1,000,000, regardless of any separate agreements or compensation.

Activity Requirements

Properties are automatically monitored for owner activity.

Properties are removed after 60 days of owner inactivity. Activity must come from the property's owner. Shared keyholders do not count towards activity. Owners averaging less than 1 hour of activity per week may receive a warning before the property is placed on the inactivity list and eventually repossessed. ️ Notes

Property ownership is intended to reward active players who contribute to the roleplay environment.

Regular activity helps ensure that limited properties remain available to players who will actively use them.

15. RULES FOR ORGANIZATIONS [UPDATED]

Organizations play a significant role in shaping the server's economy, conflicts, and player-driven stories.

Members and leaders are expected to uphold high standards of roleplay, promote meaningful interactions, and contribute positively to the wider community. Organizations should enrich the roleplay environment rather than dominate or exploit it.

️ Notes

Organizations have significant power and impact on the server, community, and stories that develop. These rules ensure they use it to enrich roleplay, rather than dominate or exploit the environment.

Prohibited Organization Management Acquiring companies or businesses solely to increase vehicle, property, or storage capacity for personal use. Leaving an Organization whilst actively involved in a Staff report where the Organization forms part of the investigation. Stockpiling Organization resources indefinitely without a legitimate roleplay purpose. Hoarding Organization resources or assets for personal or speculative use. Alliance Restrictions Organizations may only maintain one active alliance with another Organization. Alliances are exclusive. If Organization A is allied with Organization B, neither Organization may form, join, or accept another alliance. Organization C may not ally with either Organization A or B whilst that alliance remains active. Two Official Organizations may not form an alliance under any circumstances. Organization Resources & Assets Items obtained through Organization-exclusive systems (e.g. Krapea, Business Dealership, Special Catalogues) must remain within that Organization. Organization-exclusive items may not be transferred, gifted, or sold to other Organizations or individual characters. Vehicles, properties, and weapons obtained through Organization systems must remain within the Organization unless otherwise permitted by server mechanics. Clarifications Organization Responsibilities

Organizations are subject to all server rules in the same manner as individual players.

Organization leaders are expected to:

Educate members on GTAHUB's rules and expectations. Lead by example. Maintain appropriate standards of roleplay. Ensure members leaving the Organization do so through believable roleplay that reflects the end of their relationship with the Organization.

Organizations that receive 3 Staff Warnings (Strikes) may be subject to disbandment.

Alliances

For the purpose of this rule, an alliance is any arrangement, whether formal or informal, where two or more Organizations coordinate their actions in a way that affects conflict, competition, or server systems.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Assisting each other during combat, attacks, shootouts, or hostile roleplay. Providing backup, protection, manpower, money, or other resources during conflicts. Coordinating control of system zones, graffiti points, businesses, criminal systems, or other server mechanics. Agreeing to non-aggression, shared territory, shared control, rotating control, or other arrangements for mutual benefit. Acting together in a way that effectively causes two Organizations to function as one combined force.

Renaming an alliance as a partnership, pact, agreement, business arrangement, protection deal, informal understanding, or any similar term does not bypass this rule if the relationship functions as an alliance.

Passive Alliance

Organizations cooperate by avoiding conflict or protecting one another.

Aggressive Alliance

Organizations cooperate by actively fighting together or coordinating hostile actions.

Organizations may socialise, attend events, or interact with one another without automatically forming an alliance. However, recurring cooperation that creates an unfair competitive advantage may be considered an alliance.

️ Notes

Staff will assess alliances based on behaviour rather than terminology.

Recurring cooperation, shared objectives, coordinated activity, or consistent avoidance of conflict may be treated as an alliance regardless of whether a formal agreement exists.

Organization-exclusive resources are intended to benefit the Organization that earned them and should not be used for personal gain outside of that Organization.

15.1 RULES FOR OFFICIAL ORGANIZATIONS

Official Organizations are Organizations that have been granted official status by GTAHUB Staff in recognition of their roleplay quality, leadership, activity, and contribution to the server.

Official status is a privilege, not a right. With it comes exclusive resources, opportunities, and a higher standard of responsibility.

Prohibited Stockpiling Official Organization-exclusive items or resources for personal use. Leaders or sub-leaders of an Official Organization may not simultaneously hold leadership positions within another Organization. Misusing Official Organization-exclusive systems, resources, or privileges for personal gain. Clarifications Official Status

Official Organizations may receive access to:

Exclusive items and resources. Organization-exclusive missions and systems. The ability to trade or distribute restricted goods through approved roleplay.

In return, Official Organizations are expected to:

Maintain a high standard of immersive roleplay. Promote meaningful server-wide roleplay. Support creative interactions with new and existing Organizations. Maintain effective leadership and internal discipline.

Official status belongs to the Organization, not its individual leaders.

If a leader resigns or is removed, Staff may review the Organization before confirming its continued Official status.

Organizations that become inactive or repeatedly breach server rules may lose their Official status, with or without prior warning.

️ Notes

Official Organizations are expected to lead by example and set the standard for high-quality roleplay within the community.

Holding Official status does not exempt an Organization or its members from any other server rules.

16. GRAFFITI ZONE

Graffiti Zones are designated conflict areas where Illegal Organizations compete for control of territory through server activities.

Whilst these areas are intended to encourage conflict, they are not deathmatch zones. All participants remain subject to the server's roleplay, escalation, and combat rules. (See Rule 7.1 Deathmatch).

Prohibited Using firearms during a Graffiti Zone activity. Attending a Graffiti Zone with pets. Attending a Graffiti Zone wearing clothing or using vehicles that are clearly inappropriate for the activity (e.g. formal business attire or supercars). Using healing items or consumables immediately before or during the activity, including: Medical Kits Bandages Painkillers Drugs Food and drink buffs Clarifications

Only melee weapons may be used during Graffiti Zone activities, including:

Fists Baseball bats Axes Knives Other approved melee weapons

Leaving the designated Graffiti Zone or entering a vehicle is considered leaving the activity. Players who do so may not rejoin that instance of the conflict.

All escalation requirements remain in effect. Initiating violence without valid roleplay escalation may still constitute Deathmatch (DM) or Powergaming (PG).

️ Notes

Graffiti Zones are intended to create structured, competitive roleplay between participating Organizations.

Participation in a Graffiti Zone does not exempt players from any other applicable server rules.

16.1 ZONE CONTROL [NEW]

Zone Control is a structured territorial conflict in which Organizations, Groups, and Motor Clubs compete for control of a designated area.

Aggressive roleplay is only permitted between active participants and only within the designated Zone Control area. Once a player leaves the zone, or the activity ends, the conflict must also end unless it naturally develops into a separate roleplay scenario.

Prohibited Forming alliances between Organizations during Zone Control activities. Leaving the designated Zone Control area or entering a vehicle during the activity. Players who do so are considered to have withdrawn and may not re-enter or participate in the dispute. Using vehicles as weapons against participants. Continuing to attack players who have already left the designated Zone Control area. Bringing pets into the Zone Control area. Using healing items or consumables before or during the activity, including: Bandages Painkillers Medical Kits Drugs Food and drink buffs Clarifications

Zone Control is designed as a structured Organization-versus-Organization activity.

Participants are expected to remain within the designated boundaries for the duration of the event.

Leaving the area voluntarily is considered withdrawing from the activity and forfeits the right to rejoin that instance.

All other server rules, including Deathmatch (DM), Powergaming (PG), Valuing Life (VL), and Anti-Roleplay (Anti-RP), remain fully applicable throughout the activity.

️ Notes

Zone Control areas are considered Danger Zones.

Law Enforcement will not normally respond to incidents occurring within an active Zone Control area.

A Danger Zone is not a Red Zone. Participation does not exempt players from following the server's roleplay, escalation, or combat rules.

17. CHAT & COMMUNICATION (CHAT RULES FOR VOICE AND TEXT)

All communication within GTAHUB, whether through voice or text chat, must support immersive roleplay, remain respectful, and comply with both the Server Rules and Community Rules. Voice Chat is always considered In Character (IC) unless explicitly authorised otherwise by Staff.

Prohibited Voice Communication Speaking Out of Character (OOC) through voice chat without Staff approval. Playing music, soundboards, or other audio through your microphone that disrupts roleplay. Excessive shouting, microphone spam, or inappropriate noises without believable roleplay justification. Text Communication Speaking languages other than English in public chat. Using /b for anything other than brief Out of Character clarifications relating to the current roleplay scene. - Using /me or /do to force, dominate, or unfairly influence another player's roleplay. Criticising, arguing, threatening reports, or engaging in disruptive Out of Character discussions during active roleplay. Clarifications Voice Chat

Voice chat represents your character's voice. Anything spoken over voice is considered In Character.

Text Chat

'/me' should be used to describe your character's visible body language, actions and tone.

Example:

”/do Would they resist?”

Your ‘/do’ reply would depend on the roleplay environment meaning, how your character could realistically resist in that moment.

Additional Guidance Only Staff may pause or stop an active roleplay scene. Organization leaders are responsible for ensuring Organization OOC chats comply with the server rules. Voice changers or modulators may be used only where they enhance believable roleplay and remain appropriate for the character being portrayed. ️ Notes

Communication should always support immersion rather than disrupt it.

Repeated misuse of voice chat, /me, /do, or OOC communication may be treated as Roleplay Abuse or Anti-Roleplay behaviour, depending on the circumstances.

17.1 MUSIC EQUIPMENT

Music equipment may be used to enhance roleplay where it is appropriate to the setting and does not disrupt other players.

Music should contribute to the atmosphere of a roleplay scenario, not interfere with ongoing roleplay or the wider community. (see Rule 9.)

Prohibited Playing music in Safe Zones or other high-traffic public areas where it may disrupt other players. Playing obscene, offensive, or inappropriate music in public. Playing music during active criminal activities, combat, or other situations where it would be unrealistic. Using music equipment owned by another player without their permission. Disrupting organised events through the misuse of music equipment. Clarifications

Music may be used appropriately in situations such as:

Private properties. Organised events. Parties or social gatherings. Within vehicles during casual roleplay.

The volume and content of music should always be appropriate to the surrounding roleplay and those nearby.

️ Notes

Music is intended to enhance immersive roleplay, not distract from it. Misusing music equipment during organised events or repeatedly disrupting other players may result in more severe administrative action.

18. BLOCKING GTAHUB SYSTEMS

GTAHUB systems are intended to be accessible to all players.

Players may not deliberately interfere with, obstruct, or prevent others from using server systems, NPCs, businesses, mission locations, or other interactive features in a way that disrupts roleplay, gameplay, or the server economy.

Prohibited Blocking or camping NPCs to prevent other players from interacting with them. Blocking or camping mission locations or activity start points. Blocking access to workshops, businesses, stores, or their interiors. Claiming ownership or exclusive control of public server systems. Deliberately obstructing garages, depots, parking spaces, or vehicle spawn locations. Using vehicles, objects, or player positioning to prevent reasonable access to any GTAHUB system. Clarifications

Temporary congestion caused by normal roleplay, traffic, or player activity will not normally be considered a rule violation.

Players should make reasonable efforts to avoid obstructing server systems where doing so would prevent others from accessing or using them.

Roleplay that naturally forms around a public location is permitted, provided it does not intentionally deny access to server systems or create an unfair advantage.

️ Notes

Blocking GTAHUB systems undermines fair gameplay and the roleplay experience for other players.

Staff will consider the duration, intent, and overall impact of the obstruction when determining whether this rule has been breached.
