Roleplay Concepts & GTAHUB - EN Rules
Property Destruction is the intentional damage or destruction of another player's property as part of roleplay.
Because property destruction may permanently affect another player's assets or progression, it is subject to additional restrictions to ensure fair and meaningful roleplay.
You may only destroy another player's vehicle without their consent if:
Unlike properties, vehicles can be destroyed without OOC consent, but the RP must be reasonable and provable.
Players/Mechanics with towing or impounding permissions may not:
Permanent destruction of apartments, houses, or businesses requires:
Without the owner's OOC consent, permanent property destruction is not permitted.
Property destruction should always create meaningful roleplay rather than simply inconvenience another player.
Staff may assess the planning, escalation, evidence, and overall context of the roleplay when determining whether property destruction was carried out appropriately.
Property Building & Customisation allows players to personalise and furnish their homes, businesses, and other owned properties.
All customisations should support realistic, immersive roleplay and reflect the intended purpose of the property. Players may not use the building system to gain unfair gameplay advantages or create immersion-breaking structures.
Any abuse of the customisation system is considered system abuse, and may result in a permanent ban.
Vehicles should be used in a manner that is realistic, appropriate for the character, and consistent with the roleplay environment.
Vehicle choice, parking, storage, and operation should support immersive roleplay and must not be used to gain an unfair advantage or undermine the server's realism.
Vehicles should reflect the character, organisation, occupation, and situation they are being used in.
Vehicles should be parked, stored, and used in locations that are appropriate for the surrounding roleplay.
Vehicles should enhance roleplay rather than provide an unrealistic advantage.
Staff may consider the vehicle chosen, the surrounding environment, and the overall roleplay context when determining whether vehicle use was appropriate.
Properties are a limited resource intended to support active, long-term roleplay. Players should only purchase properties they genuinely intend to use.
Buying properties solely to hold, speculate on, or resell for profit undermines fair access for the wider community.
For example, a property purchased from the server for $1,000,000 may not be sold to another player for more than $1,000,000, regardless of any separate agreements or compensation.
Properties are automatically monitored for owner activity.
Property ownership is intended to reward active players who contribute to the roleplay environment.
Regular activity helps ensure that limited properties remain available to players who will actively use them.
Organizations play a significant role in shaping the server's economy, conflicts, and player-driven stories.
Members and leaders are expected to uphold high standards of roleplay, promote meaningful interactions, and contribute positively to the wider community. Organizations should enrich the roleplay environment rather than dominate or exploit it.
Organizations have significant power and impact on the server, community, and stories that develop. These rules ensure they use it to enrich roleplay, rather than dominate or exploit the environment.
Organizations are subject to all server rules in the same manner as individual players.
Organization leaders are expected to:
Organizations that receive 3 Staff Warnings (Strikes) may be subject to disbandment.
For the purpose of this rule, an alliance is any arrangement, whether formal or informal, where two or more Organizations coordinate their actions in a way that affects conflict, competition, or server systems.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Renaming an alliance as a partnership, pact, agreement, business arrangement, protection deal, informal understanding, or any similar term does not bypass this rule if the relationship functions as an alliance.
Organizations cooperate by avoiding conflict or protecting one another.
Organizations cooperate by actively fighting together or coordinating hostile actions.
Organizations may socialise, attend events, or interact with one another without automatically forming an alliance. However, recurring cooperation that creates an unfair competitive advantage may be considered an alliance.
Staff will assess alliances based on behaviour rather than terminology.
Recurring cooperation, shared objectives, coordinated activity, or consistent avoidance of conflict may be treated as an alliance regardless of whether a formal agreement exists.
Organization-exclusive resources are intended to benefit the Organization that earned them and should not be used for personal gain outside of that Organization.
Official Organizations are Organizations that have been granted official status by GTAHUB Staff in recognition of their roleplay quality, leadership, activity, and contribution to the server.
Official status is a privilege, not a right. With it comes exclusive resources, opportunities, and a higher standard of responsibility.
Official Organizations may receive access to:
In return, Official Organizations are expected to:
Official status belongs to the Organization, not its individual leaders.
If a leader resigns or is removed, Staff may review the Organization before confirming its continued Official status.
Organizations that become inactive or repeatedly breach server rules may lose their Official status, with or without prior warning.
Official Organizations are expected to lead by example and set the standard for high-quality roleplay within the community.
Holding Official status does not exempt an Organization or its members from any other server rules.
Graffiti Zones are designated conflict areas where Illegal Organizations compete for control of territory through server activities.
Whilst these areas are intended to encourage conflict, they are not deathmatch zones. All participants remain subject to the server's roleplay, escalation, and combat rules. (See Rule 7.1 Deathmatch).
Only melee weapons may be used during Graffiti Zone activities, including:
Leaving the designated Graffiti Zone or entering a vehicle is considered leaving the activity. Players who do so may not rejoin that instance of the conflict.
All escalation requirements remain in effect. Initiating violence without valid roleplay escalation may still constitute Deathmatch (DM) or Powergaming (PG).
Graffiti Zones are intended to create structured, competitive roleplay between participating Organizations.
Participation in a Graffiti Zone does not exempt players from any other applicable server rules.
Zone Control is a structured territorial conflict in which Organizations, Groups, and Motor Clubs compete for control of a designated area.
Aggressive roleplay is only permitted between active participants and only within the designated Zone Control area. Once a player leaves the zone, or the activity ends, the conflict must also end unless it naturally develops into a separate roleplay scenario.
Zone Control is designed as a structured Organization-versus-Organization activity.
Participants are expected to remain within the designated boundaries for the duration of the event.
Leaving the area voluntarily is considered withdrawing from the activity and forfeits the right to rejoin that instance.
All other server rules, including Deathmatch (DM), Powergaming (PG), Valuing Life (VL), and Anti-Roleplay (Anti-RP), remain fully applicable throughout the activity.
Zone Control areas are considered Danger Zones.
Law Enforcement will not normally respond to incidents occurring within an active Zone Control area.
A Danger Zone is not a Red Zone. Participation does not exempt players from following the server's roleplay, escalation, or combat rules.
All communication within GTAHUB, whether through voice or text chat, must support immersive roleplay, remain respectful, and comply with both the Server Rules and Community Rules. Voice Chat is always considered In Character (IC) unless explicitly authorised otherwise by Staff.
Voice chat represents your character's voice. Anything spoken over voice is considered In Character.
'/me' should be used to describe your character's visible body language, actions and tone.
”/do Would they resist?”
Your ‘/do’ reply would depend on the roleplay environment meaning, how your character could realistically resist in that moment.
Communication should always support immersion rather than disrupt it.
Repeated misuse of voice chat, /me, /do, or OOC communication may be treated as Roleplay Abuse or Anti-Roleplay behaviour, depending on the circumstances.
Music equipment may be used to enhance roleplay where it is appropriate to the setting and does not disrupt other players.
Music should contribute to the atmosphere of a roleplay scenario, not interfere with ongoing roleplay or the wider community. (see Rule 9.)
Music may be used appropriately in situations such as:
The volume and content of music should always be appropriate to the surrounding roleplay and those nearby.
Music is intended to enhance immersive roleplay, not distract from it. Misusing music equipment during organised events or repeatedly disrupting other players may result in more severe administrative action.
GTAHUB systems are intended to be accessible to all players.
Players may not deliberately interfere with, obstruct, or prevent others from using server systems, NPCs, businesses, mission locations, or other interactive features in a way that disrupts roleplay, gameplay, or the server economy.
Temporary congestion caused by normal roleplay, traffic, or player activity will not normally be considered a rule violation.
Players should make reasonable efforts to avoid obstructing server systems where doing so would prevent others from accessing or using them.
Roleplay that naturally forms around a public location is permitted, provided it does not intentionally deny access to server systems or create an unfair advantage.
Blocking GTAHUB systems undermines fair gameplay and the roleplay experience for other players.
Staff will consider the duration, intent, and overall impact of the obstruction when determining whether this rule has been breached.
